Project Title

Occupational training curriculum development (Vocational Training Academy) and tracking.

Description of Project

Vocational Training Academy (VTA) is an innovative, 4-12-week program which inspires participants to envision the benefits of preparing for and attaining life-enriching employment. Students are equipped with practical tools that will help them determine the best job suited for them, seek and attain the job, and to keep the job long-term. VTA is typically free of charge and targets anyone who:

  • Is homeless and unemployed or under-employed
  • Has a strong desire to improve their employment situation
  • Is willing to commit to an effective training program that will challenge them
